SEP sesam generally supports all devices which are connected via standard interfaces like FC, iSCSI, SAS, SATA, SCSI and S3. The device connection must be supported by the hardware vendor and recognized correctly by the operating system.
- Single tape drives
- Tape Libraries
- Storage Systems
- Cloud Storage
SEP sesam can use a wide range of devices. We receive regular reports from our customers that also other tape or storage devices work smoothlessly that are not explicitly listed in our device matrix. Customers should be at the latest OS update level, device driver and firmware levels. In case of any hardware problems with listed and not listed devices, please contact the hardware vendor first.
The list of supported hardware vendors and devices on this page is just a selection of our most valuable partners and makes no claim for completeness! If you have specific requests or questions regarding supported devices please contact us via email to email@example.com.
