Docs latest icon.png Welcome to the latest SEP sesam documentation version 4.4.3/4.4.3 Beefalo V2. For previous documentation version(s), check Documentation archive.

Overview

If a task group is not needed anymore, you can delete it from the Main Selection -> Tasks -> By groups. A task group that still contains tasks cannot be deleted. You must first delete or remove the tasks from the group.

Note that as of SEP sesam v. ≥ 4.4.3 Grolar, it is possible to disable a task group (or an individual task) rather than deleting it whenever you only need to temporarily disable a task group. Unlike deleting a task group, disabling a task group prevents it from running but keeps it available to be easily reactivated again. For details, see Disabling and Enabling Task Group.

Steps

  • To delete a task group, you need to select from the list of tasks in the content pane. Then right-click the selected task group and click Delete.
  • Delete task group Beefalo V2.jpg
  • You can also open the Properties window of the selected task group and click Delete.
  • Delete task group from properties Beefalo V2.jpg
    Information sign.png Note
You can only delete empty groups. If there are still tasks associated with the group, you will see the Delete Task Group window and the remaining tasks. These must be removed, reassigned or deleted before you can fully delete the task group. Then click OK.
