Übersicht

Dieser Artikel beschreibt die automatische Installation von SEP sesam für Windows. Diese Funktion ist für Linux nicht verfügbar. Für die Linux Installation, schauen Sie unter SEP sesam Installation Kurzanleitung für Linux. Für automatische remote Updates Ihrer Clients, schauen Sie unter Automatische Updates.

Ab SEP sesam Version 4.2.1.23 ist ein Remote-Installationsskript sm_remote_install.exe in allen Windows Server-Paketen enthalten. Die Remote SEP sesam Installation ermöglicht es Ihnen einen SEP sesam Client, Remote Device Server (RDS), Server, oder ein GUI Paket auf einem beliebigen Windows System von einem bereits installierten SEP sesam Windows Server zu installieren.

Das Installationsskript wird aus einem Python-Skript generiert, das das SEP sesam Installationspaket auf das Hostsystem (-o host) im angegebenen Pfad (-r <remote_location>) oder nach C:\Temp kopiert, wenn der Pfad nicht angegeben ist, und dann die Installationsdatei ausführt.

As of v. 4.4.3 Beefalo V2, once your SEP sesam Windows Server is already installed, you can remotely install any SEP sesam package (Client, RDS, etc.) to any Windows system by using SEP sesam GUI. For details, see Remote Installation of Windows Clients.

Voraussetzungen

• Ein SEP sesam Windows Server muss bereits installiert sein, um als Netzwerkinstallationsserver verwendet werden zu können.

• Alle benötigten Windows Installationspakete müssen sich, auf dem SEP sesam Server, im Verzeichnis <SEP_sesam_home>var\work\packages z.B., C:\Program Files\SEPsesam\var\work\packages befinden.

• Sie müssen über Administratorrechte verfügen, um die Befehle von CLI auf Ihrem Windows-Server ausführen zu können (keine Anmeldung erforderlich).

• Die Firewall im Netzwerk muss die Kommunikation oder Dateifreigabe zwischen dem SEP sesam Server und einem Ziel-Windows-System ermöglichen.

• Sie können SEP sesam per remote auf jedem Computer im Netzwerk mit einem unterstützten Windows-Betriebssystem installieren. Die Remote-Installation ist versionsspezifisch. Abhängig von Ihrer SEP sesam Version, wählen Sie eine der folgenden Optionen:

• Remote Installation mit SEP sesam Version. 4.4 oder höher

• Remote Installation mit SEP sesam Version 4.2.1

Befehl Parmeter

Die Parameter für einen Befehl sind auftragsabhängig und können obligatorische und optionale Werte oder Schlüsselwörter enthalten.

Trennt die Auswahl zwischen zwei oder mehr Optionen oder Argumenten.

Geben optionale Werte an.

< > spitze Klammern

Geben an, dass das eingeschlossene Element obligatorisch ist. Die spitzen Klammern dürfen nicht in der Kommandozeile eingegeben werden.

Remote Installation mit SEP sesam Version. 4.4 oder höher

Ab Version 4.4 können Sie SEP sesam Remote-Installationen, Updates und Deinstallationen über die Kommandozeile mit dem sm_remote_installer durchführen. Beachten Sie, dass sich alle Installationspakete im Verzeichnis <SEP_sesam_home>var\work\packages befinden müssen. Als Referenz zur Verwendung von CLI, schauen Sie hier SEP sesam CLI.

Verwendung

sm_remote_installer [arguments]
     -h -> help
     Arguments in square brackets are non obligatory.

   First argument:
     install | update | uninstall | executecmd | listclients

   List all clients available in the given domain:
     -d <domain name>      -> domain name to check for operating systems

   Arguments for remote installation:
     -c <client name>      -> client name of remote windows system
     -u [<domain>\]<user>  -> user name of remote windows system has to be administrator, optionally the domain can also be inserted
     -p <password>         -> password for the administrator
     [-f <filename>]       -> has to be located in <SEPsesam>\work\packages directory
     [-r <remotelocation>] -> default is C:\Temp
     -s [srv|rds|gui|cli]  -> installation type server, rds, gui, or client installation are possible
     -S <server>           -> the server name, only needed for rds, gui, or cli
     [-o <options>]        -> options have to be given comma separated, possible options are:
                                gui=yes|no             -> only available for rds installation
                                client=yes|no          -> only available for gui installation
                                language=en|de|de_by   -> the language for the sesam installation
                                bin=<path>             -> path for the bin directory
                                var=<path>             -> path for the var directory
                                shortcut=yes|no        -> default is shortcut=yes
                                system_tray=yes|no     -> default is system_tray=no

   Arguments for remote update:
     -c <client name>      -> client name of remote windows system
     -u [<domain>\]<user>  -> user name of remote windows system has to be administrator, optional the domain can also be inserted
     -p <password>         -> password for the administrator
     [-f <filename>]         -> has to be located in <SEPsesam>\work\packages directory

   Arguments for remote uninstall:
     -c <client name>      -> client name of remote windows system
     -u [<domain>\]<user>  -> user name of remote windows system has to be administrator, optional the domain can also be inserted
     -p <password>         -> password for the administrator

   Arguments for remote executecmd:
     -c <client name>      -> client name of remote windows system
     -u [<domain>\]<user>  -> user name of remote windows system has to be administrator, optional the domain can also be inserted
     -p <password>         -> password for the administrator
     -S <server>           -> the server name, only needed for -e option set_client
     -e <command>          -> The execution command to be executed on the remote computer. Possible commands are:
                                set_client             -> set the access from client <client name> for server given by -S <server> parameter
                                get_clusternode       -> (for hyper cluster only) This command displays the name and state of each node in the local cluster given by the client name.

Remote Installation

Server:

sm_remote_installer install -c win7x64 -u Administrator -p password -f sesam-srv-4.4.1.8-windows.x64.exe -s srv

RDS mit GUI:

GUI mit Client:

Remote Deinstallation

sm_remote_installer uninstall -c win7x64 -u Administrator -p password

Remote Ausführungsbefehl

So setzen Sie den Client-Zugriff für den Server worksfornix auf dem Client win7x64:

sm_remote_installer executecmd -c win7x64 -u domain\Administrator -p password -e set_client -S worksfornix

Auslesen der Namen aller Knoten in dem Cluster hypercluster

sm_remote_installer executecmd -c hypercluster -u domain\Administrator -p password -e get_clusternode

Remote Installation mit SEP sesam Version 4.2.1

Sie können Remote-Installationen (aber nicht die Updates und die Installation wie oben) von der Kommandozeile aus ausführen, indem Sie sm_remote_install verwenden.
