This script is able to add VM-ware machines automatically to Sesam database

Each script has to be executed on your Sesam server.

Windows

On Windows this script is available for Powershell and it needs to be called with one parameter, which has to be the name of the configured vCenter in Sesam. This means, the vCenter system needs to be an existing client in Sesam database. In case of more than one vCenter system, the script must be called separately for each client. The script can be found here: http://download.sep.de/utils/add-vm-ware-machines.zip

Restrictions of the script

Virtual machines with special characters excepted "-" and "_" can cause problems when adding the task respectively source. Especially virtual machines with mutated vowels can cause problems. The script informs the user with an error message, when a problem occurs.
