Backups by State
Overview of all Tasks using the following Filters:
- Time_Filter
- Client_Filter
- Status_Filter
Once you've changed a filter selection, it will be activated when you click the "Show" switch.
You can halt a Task by selecting an active task in the Table and clicking the Switch Abort.
Clicking the column label, e.g. column Status or column 'Start_Time, will display the data either alphabetically or by execution time.

The Control Window all Server is only visible for the SEP sesam Master Server Master Sesam. Using this option the System Administrator can select specific Sesam Servers for display and action. |
State Filter
- Working
- in Queue
- The task has been queued for execution, i.e. the SEPuler has started this job but it has to wait until resources
(e.g. Tape Drive for a Media Pool) are available.
- Active
- the task is being processed.
- Not Restorable
- Interrupted
- The backup Task was interrupted during data transfer
- errors exist
- Fatal errors were detected during the completion of the backup task.
- Restorable
- Successful
- Backup Successful
- Info
- System dependent - some files/data could not be backed up, e.g. open files in Windows.
By clicking a task in the table and selecting the switch Properties or with a double click on the task line you can see other information for the backup task. You can store preferred settings for these tasks, see User Settings for State Filters

Shows status of Encryption and Compression.
Protocol
The Backup Log or Protocol displays and stores the reports regarding the process of the backup.
- PRE-Log
- Report regarding the Pre- Interface activated before the backup task started.
- POST-Log
- Report for the Post- Interface, after the backup was finished.
Statistics
Presentation of the above table for selected Backup Tasks/Jobs displayed in a pie chart, the graph can be rotated with mouse clicks. You can switch between table output and graphical output with the button in the window.
