Übersicht
SEP sesam enables you to restore individual VMs and containers that were backed up from a Proxmox server or cluster. The restore procedure in Restore Assistant is intuitive, and similar to regular file system restore.
When restoring from a full backup, a new VM is created with the same content and configuration as it had at the time of the backup. You can restore only one VM or container at a time. SEP sesam enables you to restore complete VMs into new VM instances, creating VMs without affecting the originals. For containers, you can efficiently recover container environments in case of data loss or corruption.
A restore task can be started immediately, or saved and linked with a restore event to a schedule for regular or repeated execution. For more information on scheduling, refer to Creating a Restore Event.
