Introduction

Please find below the most current release notes regarding enhancements and bug fixes for sesam 3.0.1.32. This update as of Aug 27, 2007.

The notes covers all changes between version 3.0.1.31 and 3.0.1.32

Installation

GUI

• Specification of exclude by client browser corrected
• Target drive for saveset migration can be specified again
• Schedule dialog can be closed by OK button
• end-of-lifetime for a media pool wasn't saved always
• Sesam status protocol will be shown for as protocol of a newday event in results dialog

Sesam Server

Saveset migration

• Selection of saveset for migration takes account of backup level again

Restore

• MS-SQL Server restore with generation (INC or DIFF) failed because all restores were called with -a recover,start
• Multiple '/' are squeezed, otherwise subdirectories are not shown in GUI Restore Wizard, e.g. /var/work//tmp/scalix was only browsed til /var/work

Log files

• STPD logfiles are correctly renamed. Avoids very large logfiles during backup
